The plank are on.

After a lot of work, the plank are on the back side of the house.

The wall needs to be washed. I used Pine-Sol on the lower three rows and discovered some discolorization. Some pine knots are showing through. I can use Zinsser B-I-N (shellac based) to cover them, or their Cover Stain Primer (oil based).

Since the wood is already painted, I may need to use the oil based Cover Stain Primer. Shellac is a wood oriented product and intended to be applied directly to bare wood.

A series of tests needs to be performed.

Pine knots could be sanded off using a drill and rough/coarse sanding discs.
